Swelling, bruising and tenderness can occur. Unintended injection into a blood vessel can cause serious injury, including tissue damage, vision loss or stroke. Product approvals vary by area. Discuss all previous fillers, allergies, medications and health conditions with your provider. Removal can be difficult and is not always possible.
